BCDMOS driver interface featuring eight independent driver stages, each with a maximum current capability of 50mA. It is partitioned into four high-side and four low-side driver stages to allow an easy connection of either four half-bridges or two H-bridges on the PC board. The driver communicates with a microcontroller via an 8-bit serial interface. It features integrated protection against short circuit and overtemperature. EMI protection and 2-kV ESD protection with automotive qualification referring to conducted interference (ISO/TR 7637/1) make this IC ideal for both automotive and industrial applications.
